All the flavors are there, but in a more restrained austere expression (more green apple and crushed rocks). M+ acid. M/M+ body. Long finish. Made well and will probably improve through 2031, and will last another 5+ years after that with a more tertiary-driven style. Outstanding. |

Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs, minerals & oak/vanilla. Lingering finish with a bit of heat. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but might develop further with additional aging although I have some reservations about the VA in the nose & the heat in the finish. |
